Here you’ll find clear answers regarding tours, transport, accessibility, and everything you need to know before joining our experiences.

General Information

  • In what languages are the tours available?

    Our tours are available in English, French, Spanish, Italian,German and Polish. Please specify your preferred language when booking.

  • Do I need to provide my full name when booking?

    Yes. Currently, Oskar Schindler’s Factory and Auschwitz Museum require accurate full names for issuing tickets and for security reasons. Please make sure to provide the correct information when booking.

  • Why do I need to bring my ID or passport?

    Yes. For tours to Oskar Schindler’s Factory and Auschwitz Museum, you must carry a valid ID or passport for:


    Ticket and identity verification at museums and historical sites


    Age verification where applicable


    Compliance with local laws and security requirements


     ❗️Without a valid document, participation in the tour may not be possible.  

  • What happens if I am late for the meeting point?

    For group tours, punctuality is essential. The group will depart according to the schedule, and waiting time is limited to 5 minutes.


    For private tours, we can be more flexible, but please inform us as early as possible of any delays.


     ❗️Refunds are not available for missed tours due to late arrival without prior notice.  

  • Where is the meeting point for my tour?

    The exact location is listed on your voucher, including the address and any specific instructions. Usually, you can locate your coordinator there holding the welcome board.

  • Who will be waiting for me at the meeting point?

    At the meeting point, one of our coordinators will be there to greet you. They can be easily recognized by a welcome board displaying the ExcursionCity logo, tour name, and start time. The coordinator will guide you to your tour guide, who will then lead the experience

  • Are there baggage or size restrictions for bags and backpacks?

    Yes. In many museums and attractions, there are strict bag size limits:



    • Maximum size is usually 30 cm × 20 cm × 10 cm.
    • Larger bags must be left on the bus or in a designated storage area if available.
    • For safety reasons, large backpacks, suitcases, tripods, and large camera bags are not allowed.
  • Are the tours accessible for wheelchairs?

    Most museums are wheelchair accessible, including Wawel Castle grounds, Schindler’s Factory, and the Underground Museum.


    ⚠️Exceptions: Wawel Cathedral (part of the Wawel tour) has limited accessibility.

  • What is the Oskar Schindler’s Factory tour about?

    This is not a factory museum. The tour tells the story of Kraków during WWII, the Jewish community, and Schindler’s personal history.

Booking, Payments and Cancellation

  • How can I book a tour or transfer?

    You can book directly through our website, by email or by phone.

  • Can I pay on the day of the tour?

    In most cases, full payment is required in advance. Last-minute cash payments are possible only in specific situations and must be confirmed with our team.

  • Can I cancel my booking?

    Yes, but cancellation terms vary by tour type, payment status and time before departure. For full details, please check our Terms & Conditions or contact us.

Practical Information During the Tour

  • What should I wear?

    We recommend comfortable walking shoes for all tours.


    For visits to cathedrals, churches, Wawel Castle, and other religious sites, please wear modest clothing: shoulders should be covered, and shorts or skirts should be of appropriate length.

  • Are there any seasonal closures?

    Some museums or attractions may close on public holidays.


    We will inform you during booking if any sites are unavailable during your chosen dates.

  • Are toilets available during the tours?

    At most attractions, toilets are available.

  • Can I take photos?

    Yes, photos are allowed in most locations.


    ❗️At churches and Wawel Cathedral, photography is not permitted, and flash photography is prohibited.

  • Are pets allowed on tours?

    No, animals are generally not permitted, except for assistance dogs with prior notice.

  • Is there an elevator in the Wieliczka Salt Mine?

    No — access is via stairs only.

  • What if the golf cart is not at the meeting point?

    It is most likely stuck in traffic and should arrive within a few minutes. The seats are heated for comfort.
