El Museo de Oskar Schindler es muy popular entre los turistas. La atípica y moderna exposición del museo no dejará indiferente a nadie. Conoce la historia de un empresario alemán que guió a muchos judíos durante la guerra. Las calles de Podgorze aún guardan evidencias de esos terribles acontecimientos. Verás una parte de la muralla intacta que rodea el gueto, donde vivían miles de judíos desplazados, y la farmacia «Bajo el águila», un monumento con 68 sillas en la plaza de los Héroes del gueto.
Mina de sal de Wieliczka
Una excursión.
Wieliczka: una pequeña ciudad a 10 km de Cracovia, donde se encuentra una de las minas de sal antiguas más grandes de Europa (700 años). La profundidad de la mina es de 340 metros y la longitud total de los pasillos y túneles supera los 245 kilómetros.
La ruta turística tiene más de 3 km de largo e incluye más de 20 salas, incluida la iglesia de Santa Kinga, la patrona de los mineros, más grande y única. La iglesia subterránea está profusamente decorada con candelabros, tallas y esculturas de santos tallados en sal. Hay un microclima curativo especial en la mina y a una profundidad de 135 m hay un sanatorio.
La mina de sal de Wieliczka figura en la Lista del Patrimonio Mundial de la UNESCO.
La excursión la lleva a cabo un guía autorizado del museo. Solo hay un conductor de escolta en el camino.
