Itinerary
Chopin Gallery Concert Hall / 50 min. / Admission Ticket Included
Your evening begins at the Chopin Gallery, located on Kraków’s famous Main Market Square. Inside this historic setting, you will experience a unique Jewish folk and Klezmer concert performed by a talented ensemble of professional musicians who have been performing together for more than 20 years.
During the concert, you will hear a colorful repertoire inspired by musical traditions from across Central and Eastern Europe. The program includes lively instrumental Klezmer pieces connected with the folklore of Reform Judaism, as well as deeply emotional songs performed in Yiddish, rooted in Orthodox Jewish tradition.
The melodies tell stories of everyday life, celebrations, longing, and spirituality that have shaped Jewish culture for centuries. Some tunes may even sound familiar — many of them became an important part of Europe’s musical heritage.
The concert takes place in the atmospheric interior of a historic tenement house known as “Dębińskich” or “Under the Barrel,” originally built in the 15th century and rebuilt in the 16th century while preserving its medieval charm. Its intimate interior creates the perfect setting to enjoy live traditional music.
