Day 1 – Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum

Auschwitz I – Main Camp / 1h45min / Admission Ticket Included
Begin your guided visit at Auschwitz I, where the museum exhibitions are located in original brick barracks. With an official museum guide, learn about the everyday life of prisoners and the tragic history of the Holocaust.         Please arrive 10 minutes before the tour begins. Once the group has departed, latecomers cannot join and tickets are non-refundable.

        All group tours are conducted in one language, selected when booking.

        Students must carry valid student ID with photo and expiry date for youth discounts.

        In the Salt Mine, temperature is 14–16°C. Bring warmer clothing and note that the tour involves extensive walking and many stairs. Not recommended for guests with mobility, heart, or claustrophobia issues.

        What to bring

          * Please bring your ID card or other identification document for identification by museum staff. The name and surname on your ticket must match the one on your document. Without these, entry may be denied.
          * A part of the Auschwitz tour takes place outdoors - please wear comfortable shoes, protect yourself from the sun/rain, and bring water and snacks (there is no lunch break on this tour).
          * In the Salt Mine, temperature is 14–16°C. Bring warmer clothing and note that the tour involves extensive walking and many stairs. Not recommended for guests with mobility, heart, or claustrophobia issues.
