Itinerary

Schindler’s Factory & Podgórze (approx. 1 hour)

Your private guide will meet you outside Schindler’s Factory Museum on Lipowa Street. Here, you’ll discover how Oskar Schindler transformed his enamel factory into a place of protection, saving over 1,000 Jewish workers.

From there, continue into Podgórze—the former WWII ghetto—where your guide will reveal the tragic reality of daily life under Nazi occupation. Along Tarnowskiego Street, visit the filming location of the unforgettable “girl in the red coat” scene and discuss its symbolism and emotional significance.

Cross the historic Piłsudski Bridge, once a symbolic divide between freedom and imprisonment, while hearing stories of forced relocation, smuggling, and resistance.

Part 2: Jewish Kazimierz & Film Locations (approx. 1 hour)

Continue into Kazimierz, once the vibrant center of Jewish life in Kraków. At Józefa Street 12, explore original courtyards used during filming and hear stories of survival during the ghetto liquidation.

Walk along Ciemna Street, where scenes depicting Poldek Pfefferberg’s escape were filmed, before stopping at Dajwór and Na Przejściu Streets—location of the symbolic ghetto gate created for the movie.

Your private experience concludes on Szeroka Street, surrounded by historic synagogues and the heart of prewar Jewish Kazimierz, where your guide will share the district’s legacy and revival.
