Itinerary:

  • Szeroka Street – scenes depicting the liquidation of the Krakow Ghetto.
  • Ciemna Street – the setting for many dramatic scenes related to the tragic events of the Krakow Ghetto.
  • Nowy Square – a place used in the film to represent the lives of Jewish merchants, both before the war and during the Nazi occupation.
  • Schindler's Courtyard – Ghetto Liquidation Scene - In Kazimierz, there is a courtyard made famous by the Schindler's List scene depicting the liquidation of the Krakow Ghetto. Here, we recount the tragic events of the forced expulsion of Jews and how this courtyard became a symbol of the horrors that unfolded in Krakow during the war.
  • Bernatek Footbridge appeared in Schindler's List as a symbol of the separation and suffering during the liquidation of the Krakow Ghetto. It connects Kazimierz and Podgórze, highlighting the divisions experienced by the Jewish community during the war.
  • Ghetto Heroes Square in Krakow played a significant role in Schindler's List , where scenes depicting the deportations from the ghetto were filmed. The square symbolizes the tragic events of the ghetto's liquidation and serves as a memorial to the heroism and suffering of Holocaust victims.
  • Schindler’s Factory presents the daily life and tragic events that took place in Krakow during World War II. The home of the museum is the site of the Schindler’s Factory shown in the Oscar-winning film "Schindler's List" by Stephen Spielberg.   • A corner of ul. Jozefinska and ul. Krakusa – sewer entrance – escape routes from the ghetto
  • ul. Jozefinska 18 – the building of the Jewish Social Self-Help Organisation
  • ul. Wegierska – Zucker Synagogue and “Optima” Factory
  • Rynek Podgorski Square – Judenrat (Jewish Council) Building, Julius Madritsch’s Confectionery Factory, Roman Polanski’s family ghetto lodgings and the location of the main gate of the ghetto.
